India is stepping closer to large scale offshore wind development.  Following the expressions of interest this summer which saw the major European players as well as US and Indian domestic wind companies showing their interest in the first offshore wind projects in India.

This offshore wind initiative from the EIB is another clear indication that offshore wind in India is going to take major strides in the near future.
